Lee Thompson Young Apparent Suicide

Lee Thompson Young Dies at Age 29

It really seems like a lot of Actors are dying these days, which is sad, especially when most of them, if not all of them are really talented actors.  Lee Thompson Young is a Disney actor who you may remember as one of the stars from Rizzoli & Isles was found dead in his apartment after he did not show up for work in the morning.  Los Angeles police officer Sally Madera told the Associated Press that police were sent to the home to check on Young after he failed to show up for filming Monday morning.  The actor’s manager, Jonathan Baruch, confirms that Young took his own life.
ᔥ”The Famous Jett Jackson” actor, who appeared on TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles,” committed suicide.

What Will Happen to Rizzoli & Isles TV Show

In the aftermath of the tragedy, TV bosses shut down production on Rizzoli & Isles; it is unknown how long the suspension will last, according to TheWrap.com.  Young’s manager Jonathan Baruch has paid tribute to his longtime client, who shot to fame in Disney’s The Famous Jett Jackson, writing, “It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends at this difficult time.”  Young had a key role as detective Barry Frost on Rizzoli & Isles, alongside Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. The show was recently renewed for a fifth series.

It seemed as though Lee Thompson Young had a lot going for him with his acting career at the time of his death the hit drama Rizzoli & Isles was renewed for another season and the ratings couldn’t have been better… TNT’s hit drama “Rizzoli & Isles” returned with a boost in the ratings for its Season 4 premiere. 6.6 million viewers tuned in to the 9 p.m. airing, including 2.3 million adults 25-54 and 1.8 million adults 18-49. Those numbers are all up over last year’s Season 3 premiere, which drew 5.6 million viewers.

Sadly, though it seems some demons you just can’t escape from? It’s a sad day when a talented actor such as Lee Thompson Young takes his own live, for reason of which we may never know.

Peter Capaldi the New Dr. Who

Peter Capaldi Takes Over For Matt Smith

Well for any of you Dr. Who fans out there it’s a sad day for any Matt Smith fans as the 11th Doctor.  It was officially announced yesterday that Peter Capaldi will be the new and 12th Doctor.  Matt Smith’s last episode will be the Christmas special coming at the end of this year.

BBC announced today that Peter Capaldi, best known for his role as foul-mouthed Malcolm Tucker on BBC comedy series The Thick of It, has been cast as the 12th Doctor. He was the favorite leading up to the announcement, made today on a live program.

What To Expect from the Next Dr. Who

ᔥBiography for Peter Capaldi…

One of his more recent well known roles is as Malcolm Tucker in the BBC Series “The Thick of It“, and his character Malcolm Tucker is known for his insidious and outrageous swearing.  Warning the video below has a lot of swearing in it so please watch carefully.  (ie. if you are at work put some headphones on :)

I know for myself, Matt Smith and David Tennant are my two favorite Dr. Who’s.  I remember when Matt Smith took over for David Tennant I was anxious and worried that he would not do as an amazing a job as David Tennant had, and today I feel the same way of Peter Capaldi.  Will he be able to capture the same audience as Matt Smith, and David Tennant and any other Dr. Who before him?  I guess only time will tell.  What do you think?  Comments below…

Movie: Riddick 3 Coming Soon!

Riddick 3 Release September 6, 2013

Personally I am a huge fan of Vin Diesel and his character Riddick who we first met in the movie Pitch Black back in 2000.  Then came The Chronicles of Riddick which was also a great film (released in 2004),  and now Riddick 3 is due to release come September 6th, 2013.  After reviewing the trailer one thing does worry me a little and that is it has a Pitch Black feel to it.  Again Bounty Hunters are chasing Riddick, night falls, and alien creatures come out of the dark to try and hunt down Riddick and his Bounty Hunter companions.  This film looks like it has some great CGI effects from what you can see from the movie trailers, but I’m just hoping the plot differs significantly enough that you aren’t walking out of the movie thinking you just saw the same movie twice!  Once in 2000 and the second time in 2013.

Left for dead on a desert planet, Riddick fights for survival against alien predators far more vicious than any human. With little chance of survival unless he can escape off world, he uses a beacon to alert bounty hunters to his presence. If he can deal with the bounty hunters and use their ship to flee, perhaps he can get out of this one alive? To complicate matters, the captain of the bounty hunters ship is a face from Riddick’s past, with a personal grudge to settle.

Star Cast for Riddick 3

Riddick also sees the return of Karl Urban (“Star Trek,” “The Bourne Supremacy”) as Vaako and introduces to the series Jordi Molla (“Bad Boys II,” “Colombiana”) as Santana, the arrogant captain of the mercenary ship; Matt Nable (“Killer Elite”) as Boss Johns, a man looking for answers; Katee Sackhoff (TV’s “Battlestar Galactica”) as the Nordic mercenary Dahl; and Bokeem Woodbine (“Total Recall”) as bounty hunter Moss. Rounding out the cast are Dave Bautista (“The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption”), Conrad Pla (“Immortals”), Raoul Trujillo (“Apocalypto”), Nolan Funk (TV’s “Aliens in America”) and two-time Grammy Award-nominated singer Keri Hilson.

Alex Rodriguez MLB Lifetime Ban or Plea Deal!

Alex Rodriguez Judgement Day!

The 3rd baseman for the New York Yankees – Alex Rodriguez who also played shortstop for the Texas Rangers and the Seattle Mariners. Is currently being pushed to take a plea deal agreement or suffer a lifetime ban from Major League Baseball.

https://twitter.com/SInow/status/362714612161986561

Why you ask?

In December 2007, Rodriguez and the Yankees agreed to a 10-year, $275 million contract. This contract was the richest contract in baseball history (breaking his previous record of $252 million). In February 2009, after previously denying use of performance-enhancing drugs, including during a 2007 interview with Katie Couric on 60 Minutes, Rodriguez admitted to using steroids, saying he used them from 2001 to 2003 when playing for the Texas Rangers due to “an enormous amount of pressure” to perform.

Rodriguez is currently a major subject of the 2013 Biogenesis scandal and is currently involved in plea deal negotiations with the MLB. A report emerged on July 31, 2013, that the MLB will impose a lifetime ban on Rodriguez if he does not agree to a settlement.

Alex Rodriguez is facing a lifetime ban! Do you think he should be banned from MLB?

Compelling Evidence Against A-Rod!

The league reportedly has “compelling evidence” against Rodriguez, including proof that he suggested the Biogenesis clinic to other players who were thinking about using performance-enhancing drugs. That, combined with Rodriguez’s own history of PED use and his alleged attempt at obtaining and destroying evidence, gives the league fuel to seek a severe penalty against him, despite the fact that Rodriguez is technically a first-time offender.

ᔥReport: Alex Rodriguez to receive lifetime ban without agreement

Can they really give Alex Rodriguez a lifetime ban?

Orza told me that the lifetime-ban rumor is purely a negotiating tactic: “Baseball knows it can’t ban Alex for life.” The labor contract language that would presumably empower it — the specific clause says that players can be disciplined for “conduct that is materially detrimental or materially prejudicial to the best interests of baseball” — was designed to prevent players from betting on games. If the provision applied to other situations, why wasn’t it invoked during one of baseball’s previous scandals — the cocaine epidemic of the 1980s, for example? Also, at the insistence of the union, Selig signs a letter attached to the labor contract every year assuring players that he won’t invoke it. So that’s that.

ᔥCan Baseball Actually Ban Alex Rodriguez? – Deadspin

Being excommunicated with the game means you share a destiny with the Shuffler, Giants pitcher Phil Douglas, a hapless alcoholic who got drunk and wrote a letter to Cardinals outfielder Les Mann saying he was willing to tank a game. Mann, knowing what happened to Weaver when he kept guilty knowledge to himself, turned Douglas in. You are of the same ilk as Hal Chase and Heinie Zimmerman, never officially banned but not welcome either. Chase was the first real star of the New York Highlanders/Yankees, a slick-fielding first baseman who could hit a little, but he died alone, unloved, impoverished and malnourished because he not only tried to sell every game in which he played, he did his best to corrupt others as well. Zimmerman, holder of the 1912 NL batting title, spent the initial phase of his post-baseball existence deeply involved with the gangster Dutch Schultz, the kind of guy who would chastise a foe short of murder by rubbing syphilis-infected bandages in his eyes. It’s a classy crowd.

Alex Rodriguez has a $300 Million career that he’s about to lose, what’s to be next?

ᔥAlex Rodriguez: Lifetime ban or not, he’s already dead – SBNation.com

So it looks either way, whatever form of punishment he accepts, doesn’t really matter in the end.  Because now he’s been labelled as such and his creditability is all but gone.  That means no more high priced salary, or fancy sponsors.  Slowly but surely it will all start to go downhill from here, no that he is labelled as criminal for doing so many wrong doings. Even if it is his 1st offense, it doesn’t really matter, just look at how many offense’s he has for just his 1st.  I definitely believe his career will not be the same again. What do you think?  Does his career stand a chance, even after he accepts which ever punishment comes his way? Comment below to let us know what you think?

Anthony Weiner Just Won"t Quit

Anthony Weiner Keeps on Keeping on

Anthony Weiner still refusing to call it quits, he has vowed as a New Yorker it is simply not the way to go. Even after even more devastating news comes out of his campaign grounds.

https://twitter.com/NickKristof/status/362387672527945728

The campaign manager who helped to guide Anthony Weiner’s bid for New York City mayor resigned over the weekend, a spokeswoman said on Sunday, as the Democratic former Congressman grapples with slumping poll numbers and fresh revelations of his sexually charged Internet activity.

Danny Kedem, 31, who joined Weiner’s long-shot campaign in early spring, helped to manage day-to-day political operations before abruptly quitting, said spokeswoman Barbara Morgan.  She declined to comment on the timing or give a reason for his departure.

Anthony Weiner’s top aide resigns as mayoral campaign struggles …

Anthony Weiner... Won

Anthony Weiner won’t quit because he’s a “New Yorker!” So he says in new video. (See Below)

Anthony Weiner: Could It Be Any Worse?

That’s not even the worst part, it seems that he has lost control of some of his staff as they are now causing a media sensation of their own. It seems his communications director, Barbara Morgan is communicating in ways she should be more watchful of, as it is now getting her into a lot of trouble and reflecting horribly on an already devastated Mayoral campaign.

The campaign staff awoke to see their former intern, Olivia Nuzzi, on the front cover of the Daily News. Inside the paper was an article bylined by Nuzzi in which she told a rather unflattering tale of her experience working on Anthony Weiner’s mayoral bid.

Now, Team Weiner is firing back. TPM called Weiner’s communications director Barbara Morgan to discuss an unrelated story Tuesday and she went off on a curse-filled rant about Nuzzi, describing her as a fame hungry “bitch” who “sucked” at her job. Morgan also called Nuzzi a “slutbag,” “twat,” and “cunt” while threatening to sue her.

Wow those are really some choice words by someone who is suppose to be a professional and to top that the communications director.  It’s her job to make sure that anything communicated via this Mayoral campaign is communicated responsibly and correctly so its not misconstrued in anyway.

How do you think Barbara Morgan is doing so far?

Also now that Anthony Weiner is in last place based on recent polls, do you think he can come back from this mess?  Should Anthony Weiner quit or keep on keeping on?  Comment below on what you think!
