Anthony Weiner – New Mayor of New York?
Anthony Weiner is currently in the running to campaign as the Mayor of New York. The recent congressman resigned from congress when his first sex scandal came out in 2011. Mr Weiner posted pictures of his “Weiner” on twitter along with some other provocative photos way back when. He said he posted his naked photos “accidentally” when he was actually trying to send them to someone else that was not his wife via twitter.

On Thursday, Weiner announced his resignation in his district in Brooklyn. As a heckler shouted insults from the back, Weiner said he was leaving because of “the distraction that I have created.”
“I am here today to again apologize for the personal mistakes I have made and the embarrassment I have caused,” Weiner said, reading from a statement at the senior center where he had announced previous campaigns for the City Council and Congress.

Now you would think that Anthony Weiner would have learned his lesson and would have ended the romantic relationship that caused him to resign from congress however for some reason he did not and it has come back to bite him in the “Weiner” (excuse the pun).

New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner acknowledged Tuesday the existence of inappropriate texts between him and a woman not his wife that occurred after his departure from Congress in 2011. “I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and today they have,” Weiner said in a statement. “These things that I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress.”

“Our marriage like many others has had its ups and its downs. It took a lot of work a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could forgive Anthony,” Abedin said. “It was not an easy choice in any way, but I made the decision that it was worth staying in this marriage.

Also despite the fact that he resigned the first time as a congressman when the first sex scandal came out, this time Anthony Weiner says he’s not going anywhere, he does apologize to everyone, especially his wife, but under no circumstances will he resign his position as a mayoral candidate. Well hopefully Anthony Weiner realizes how lucky a man he is to have a wife that stands by him (as his wife has so far), lets all hope he’s learned his lesson.
Then again on the other hand to pose the question… is he just another shmuck that is doomed to repeat history again as so many of us have before him? I guess we will just have to wait and see, what are you thoughts on Anthony Weiner and his Wife? Should he stand by him, or should she walk?
